I wasn’t saying LR was without a chance, both horses have good chances of winning

“There’s no reason why Long Run should be reversing the form with Kauto Star at Cheltenham”

Really? Really? Kauto beat Long Run by 8 lengths in the Betfair and Long Run cut that down to a diminishing length and a quarter at Kempton, despite that being over a sharp 3 miles. Its clear LR is much more of a stayer and the extra 2 1/2 furlong up a hill at Cheltenham is more than enough reason for LR to reverse form with Kauto.

Hope I’m wrong, but LR will stay too well for Kauto Star.

Funny how they said the same thing about Long Run around Christmas time when they were going for the King George isn’t it? They said they would have Long Run fully fit for both races (King George + the Gold Cup) but guess what happened on the day?
There’s no reason why Long Run should be reversing the form with Kauto Star at Cheltenham, if anything I doubt he will even finish in the first three as his stable-mate could easily have beaten him the last day if he was given a more aggressive ride
