I’m hoping that by sharing my story it might help others, just as others have done for me; that’s how the program works. Best wishes to you if you are trying to stop gambling.

Hello. On the Gamblers Anonymous website it looks like there are meetings in Athens, Greece and Thessaloniki, Greece every week. If those are not close to you, perhaps you can contact Gamblers Anonymous headquarters through the gamblers anonymous website and send them an email. Perhaps they can put you in touch with some members in Greece who might help you to start a meeting in your area and share some materials with you. Don’t give up! Visit the website to begin. Best wishes, Mike

Glad to hear you’ve surrendered and stopped gambling! Keep it up! I’ve found that with the help of others, in the G.A. program, and with all the tools the program offers (including the meetings themselves, the phone list of other members, a sponsor, a “pressure relief” meeting, the “yellow book” and many others), and with my commitment to honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness, that I have been able to arrest the addiction, one day at a time, and my life has gotten much better!

I surrendered on December 15, 2012. After banning myself from the casino back in February, the lottey was my addiction for 10 more months. I have gambled my life away for over 17 years. I never want to lose another dollar of my hard earned money to gambling ever again. I have been gamble free for 16 days now, and that is my #1 New Year’s Resolution and beyond. To quit and stop gambling forever. Yours and many other videos on Youtube are helping me every day. Btw, Im only 35 years old.
