Question by Cory T: How to start taking bets for a basketball game?
We’re having a pickup basketball game later today and we’re taking bets from observers as to who will win. What is the best way to set up odds so they work well and everyone gets all the money that they won? Thanks!

I’m not quite sure who bets on pickup basketball, but it would be hard to set odds unless you know all the players and try to make it as fair as possible. If the teams are evenly matched you could run the line anywhere from -3.5 to +3.5 would be my suggestion. Or make one team far superior, set a high line, and see if the other team covers. Just don’t get suspected of putting on the fix.
