Question by Mary M: My boys have a variation on the gentleman’s bet where the loser has to wet his pants. How can I make them stop?
I have twin boys who are 12 years old. (fraternal) They bet on every little thing. I’ve told them to stop this, and they claim they have, but almost every day, one of them has an “accident.” I don’t think it’s an accident. I think they’re still betting. What can I do about this? What would you do?

Make them do the laundry untill it stops. You need not suggest that they are doing it on purpose. That way if one has a wetting problem you are not making it worse.Good Luck

I remember when my boys were 12-ugh!!! If you think they’re doing this purposely, make the kid who doesn’t wet wash his brother’s clothes. If that doesn’t stop them, make the kid who wets wear his damp, smelly clothes around for the rest of the day. Good luck and remember they won’t be 12 forever, thank God.

Spank them both. If they learn there are severe consequences to their lack of critical thinking skills; maybe they’ll stop. Pain is usually a good teacher.

I say a good spanking is a better teacher than the cruel reality of life’s poor choices.

I say tell them to knock it off, its not very healthy to be going around like that. And plus they are too old to be doing that kinda thing. Also if they do it, than let them stay in those clothes all day. And make them do their own ladunary.
