Question by Laurence: Vigorish – What is does it mean in gambling?
Vigorish is an unusual word and it has something to do with gambling. I just want to know if anybody knows what Vigorish is, the dictionary explains it as ‘the degree of such a charge’. But what does vigorish mean in gambling, casinos, betting and that kind of thing. Does anybody know what vigorish is. One website said it’s usually called ‘the vig’ but I don’t really understand it. What is vigorish?

I believe the term is vigorous and in poker the term means to play the hand very well or how it is suited in the situation such as not bluffing or using strategy
