Question by : How do write out an anti-post bet on a bookmakers betslip?
I’ve never witten out an anti-post bet so i’m not too sure what to do!
Do i put the date and ‘grand national’ on the betslip for tomorrows race?

They should have an ante-post betting slip. Just write the meeting and horse’s name and stake (win or each-way) and they will write the price on it. If it’s for the Grand National the 5-day declaration stage has passed so it’s no longer ante-post
that’s to say if the favourite were pulled out of the race you would have a reduced price (called a Rule 4) and if your horse were pulled out you would get your money back. (If your horse is pulled out before the 5-day stage and you’ve taken an ante-post price you lose your dough)
