I think you’re referring to American Football. The money line is the straight betting on who will win (some bookmakers include overtime). Hypothetically the the Money Line for the Patriots to beat the Buccaneers would be around 1/12 because the Pats would be clear favourites in that matchup, while the Spread would be around -14.5.
