Question by mike: Is the GOP gambling on Obama backing out on his demand of the wealthiest 2% losing their Bush tax breaks?
I hope they are. Lets see McConnell gambled on Obama losing a second term and he lost. Now that Obama has won his second term it looks like the GOP ( Thanks to McConnell) is backed into a corner and cant come out unless they give Obama what he demands , and that is the wealthiest 2% losing their Bush tax breaks. The GOP knows if they do nothing another referendum election against them will take place in 2014 and if they give Obama what he demands then they will face challenges to their seats from within their own party. Its nice to see them sweat for a change.

Its worse than that. Obama now wants to be able to raise the debt limit by himself with no one to stop him.
