Question by : What does this mean when betting on sports?
If I bet someone on an NFL football game, and they say “give me 3pts”, this means if my teams wins by 3pts 20-17…..nobody wins?? it’s a draw right….because if I give them 3pts they need to win by 4 to win the bet correcT?

You are correct. If you are “giving” someone 3 points, then your team must win by 4 for you to win the bet. Their team must either win, or lose by 2 points or less for them to win. If your team wins by exactly 3, then nobody wins anything. (It’s a draw.)
