Question by Mark P: What is the best way to set up a betting pool for the Belmont Stakes?
Obviously a straight up draft wouldn’t work as everyone wants Big Brown. We were thinking of setting it up to where everyone would pick different quinelas or trifectas, etc, etc. Just wanted to see if there were any horse racing pool experts out there that could shed some light on the most entertaining way to do a betting pool at our Belmont Stakes viewing party. Thanks!

Number slips from 6 to 27 put them in hat and do a blind draw. Watch race. Add up the 3 numbers to fininsh the trifecta and you have your winner. Allows for 24 entries.
