Question by Alexander: Why does god gamble with the devil at the expense of human misery?
So to test someones faith, why would god gamble with the devil at the expense of human misery? I thought god frowns upon gambling?
Lets take Job for an example.. Why would god bet with the devil over jobs job’s faithfulness? Why destroy the mans life? I think the devil tricked god into ruining his life, if he knows all he wouldn’t of had to prove this to the devil. God should of foresaw the devil tricking him into ruining job’s life…
